My Morning Jacket supports voter registration org

A pair of rock shows in Nashville this week will double as fundraisers for voter registration drives at other concerts and music festivals.

What's happening: My Morning Jacket is playing back-to-back shows Wednesday and Thursday at Ascend Amphitheater with Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats.

• Both shows will be available to stream online. Tickets to access the streams will benefit the nonpartisan civic organization HeadCount, which has registered voters at Bonnaroo and shows for stars like Ariana Grande and Beyoncé.
• Fans who attend the shows in-person will get the chance to register while they're there.
