Tennessee Lady Vols star Rickea Jackson was selected fourth in last night's WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks.

Why it matters: Led by Caitlin Clark, who was taken first by the Indiana Fever, this is considered the most anticipated rookie class in WNBA history.

  • The class is full of stars who have propelled interest in women's hoops to an all-time high. Kamilla Cardoso, Angel Reese and Cameron Brink are among the hyped incoming rookies. Brink was also selected by the Sparks.

Zoom in: Jackson is a versatile 6-2 forward who averaged 20 points and eight rebounds this past season for the Lady Vols.
