- Ejim was selected with the 33rd overall pick after setting records as the all-time points, rebounds and field goals leader at Gonzaga.
- The Calgary, Alberta native was part of Canada's women's basketball roster for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.
- She grew up playing tennis and dreamt of being the next Serena Williams.
Fun fact: She has 10 siblings.
What she's saying: Ejim said being surrounded by loved ones when she found out that she was being drafted by the WNBA's hottest team was surreal.
- "Hearing my name and seeing it on the screen and knowing that's where I was wanted … I think that's the best opportunity I could ask for," she said.
