Where to get Dubai chocolate coffee drinks

• The trend started out with chocolate bars, first available only in Dubai, stuffed with the crunchy pistachio filling. The bars spread around the world and the flavor combo eventually spread to everything from cheesecake and cookies to doughnuts and fruit cups.
• It also contributed to a recent comeback of pistachio flavor.

☕ Roasting Plant: The Campus Martius-adjacent cafe's winter drink list includes Dubai hot chocolate ($6.50) and Dubai chocolate mocha ($7.50).

• They're made with pistachio milk, pistachio syrup and crumbled kataifi and whipped cream on top.

☹️ Reality check: We swear more cafes serve this, but couldn't track down more than Roasting Plant — which started in New York — for this story. Perhaps that's because the trend seemed to peak last year.
