It's finally time to retirethisRaygun shirt — after nearly a decade of improvements, Des Moines officials say the Fleur Drive reconstruction project is done.
Flashback: More than $23 million in infrastructure improvements went into the project, including replacing deteriorating roadways, completing sidewalks on both sides and installing new landscaping and median gardens.
There were also many, many jokes about constantly improving yourself.
