Northeast Ohio's 2024 concert calendar takes shape

Why it matters: The show tops an already impressive list of concerts taking place in Northeast Ohio next year.

Zoom in: Drake's "It's All a Blur Tour — Big As the What" with J. Cole stops for back-to-back nights at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Feb. 24 and 25.

Meanwhile, Madonna's Celebration Tour, which was supposed to stop at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in August, will take place Feb. 8.

Plus: Shows featuring Lauren Daigle, AJR, New Kids on the Block, Alanis Morissette, Sammy Hagar, Hozier, Thirty Seconds to Mars, and Hootie & the Blowfish are also on the schedule next year.

The big picture: The 2024 slate follows a big year for concerts in Northeast Ohio.

• Blossom Music Center's most recent season featured rare Northeast Ohio performances by Duran Duran, The Cure and 50 Cent.

Yes, but: We missed out on major shows from Taylor Swift and Beyoncé in 2023.

• Tours featuring Olivia Rodrigo, Foo Fighters, Bad Bunny and Green Day so far have no Northeast Ohio dates in 2024.
