Harris, Trump to visit the Charlotte area Saturday to vie for those last consequential votes

Former President Trump and Vice President Harris will prioritize North Carolina, specifically the Charlotte area, to campaign on the state's last day of early voting.

Why it matters: On one of the most important days for voting, both candidates will be on the same battleground of North Carolina, fighting for every last vote they can get.

Driving the news: This Saturday, Harris will host a concert featuring Jon Bon Jovi and Khalid in Charlotte. The location has not been announced.

Meanwhile, Trump will be in Greensboro. Earlier in the day, he will speak at noon at Gastonia Municipal Airport.

Flashback: North Carolina has been one of the top-visited states for both Trump and Harris this election.

On Wednesday alone, Trump held a rally in Rocky Mount, while Harris was in Raleigh. Harris' running mate Gov. Tim Walz made stops across the state, including in Matthews.
Former President Obama mobilized voters with a rally in Uptown Charlotte on Friday, as GOP Vice Presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance simultaneously held a town hall not too far away in Monroe.

The bottom line: The presidential race in North Carolina is a toss-up.
