Jon Bon Jovi, Khalid among performers announced for Harris concert in Charlotte

Driving the news: The Saturday, Nov. 2, event will be the latest in a series of concerts the Harris-Walz campaign has dubbed "When We Vote We Win" rallies.

• In addition to Bon Jovi and Khalid, the campaign announced additional performances by Brittney Spencer and The War and Treaty.
• Details such as the location of the event have not yet been announced.

What they're saying: "These artists and public figures are trusted voices for millions of Americans, who listen to their music, follow them on social media, or otherwise are inspired by them," the campaign said in a statement to WBTV.

• "The Harris-Walz campaign believes that by using their voices to lay out the stakes of this election, it will further encourage and mobilize people to go vote."

Zoom out: Saturday's event will be Harris' second visit to North Carolina this week. She held an event in Raleigh on Wednesday.

• Republican nominee former President Donald Trump will also be back in the area on Saturday, holding a rally in Gastonia in the afternoon before hosting a rally in Greensboro on Saturday night.
