UniverSoul Circus brings daring stunts, cultural dances back to Atlanta

• The rest of the week will include themed nights, an HBCU scholarship presentation and a Mother's Day celebration.

Zoom in: Audiences can expect to see performers hailing from five continents taking part in a variety of stunts and performances, including hand-balancing acts, a rollerskating troupe, Russian-style acrobatics and a teeterboard act.

• The Caribbean Street Carnival will include 20-foot-tall dancing puppets, folklore characters and stilt dancers that breathe fire.
• If that's not enough, you'll also see daring motorcycle stunt performers.

Flashback: UniverSoul Circus was started in 1994 by Cedric Walker to bring people together to celebrate joy, culture and "Atlanta's legacy as a multicultural entertainment hub," the production said in a press release.

What's next: UniverSoul will be at the former Turner Field Gray Lot in Atlanta through June 14.
