Number of pounds in shopping carts, scrap metal and other garbage pulled from metro Atlanta's most important waterway during the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper's annual Sweep the Hooch.
Zoom in: More than 1,400 volunteers walked riverbanks and paddled kayaks and canoes at 67 parks, creeks and access points from the river's north Georgia headwaters to metro Columbus.
Stunning stat: Illegally dumped tires made up 5,200 pounds of the total.
