Long weekend lines are worth the wait at Little Tart Bakeshop, the tried-and-true intown bakery with locations in Grant Park, Summerhill and at farmers markets around town.

Yes, but: If you want speedier access to cloud-fluffy croissants and pastries, there are plenty of ways to get your fix without the wait, owner Sarah O'Brien told Axios.

📲 Pre-order online: Little Tart quietly offers a morning pre-order window at its Grant Park location starting at 8 a.m.

Order ahead online and use the walk-up window at the front door.
Espresso drinks aren't available through pre-order, but drip coffee and nitro lattes are. The nitro is a solid substitute for iced latte fans, O'Brien said.

The bakeshop's Peachtree Road Farmers Market stand has a separate pre-order system to help you bypass a legendarily long line.

Little Tart posts the full menu online on Mondays and pre-packs bags of pastries for easy pick-up.

🕣 Midweek magic: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, especially in the mornings, are prime "go to the bakery with friends" hours.

On Wednesdays from 8:30am until mid-morning you'll find the full pastry spread and a lot fewer people.

📆 Plan ahead: The bakeshop accepts catering and large pre-orders through its website, which makes picking up a large order a lot easier.

What's next: Expect to have yet another option later this year in Candler Park.

Construction should begin soon, O'Brien said, and the new spot could open this fall.
