👋 Thomas here.
Every day with my infant son, Liam, is fun. But I am looking forward to the days when I can watch him run and climb on a playground.
Here are a few places I'm daydreaming about taking him (and exploring myself) once he can stand on two legs.
🛝 Candler Park Playground: This new playground carved into a hilltop blows me away as an adult. I can only imagine what it looks like when you're a tiny person.
Plus, the playground has shade. My kind of place.
❤️ Noguchi Playscape: I have vivid memories of daydreaming at this simple, beautiful and overlooked playscape in Piedmont Park.
🚂 Decatur Toy Park: Again, in the eyes of a little kid, this small church playground littered with hand-me-down toys must be a dream world.
✈️ Doc Manget Memorial Aviation Park: This playground and sitting area at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport looks out onto planes taking off and landing.
