Grindhouse Killer Burgers opens new location near The Works

The latest: Grindhouse opens to customers Wednesday at the corner of Chattahoochee Avenue and Ellsworth Industrial Boulevard in the immediate vicinity of Topgolf and The Works.

• The 7,000-square-foot restaurant will be two stories, and include indoor and outdoor seating on the ground floor and a full-service rooftop bar and patio reserved for people 21 and older.

What they're saying: Alex Brounstein, a partner with Grindhouse, said in the news release that the area's "strong sense of community" made the location the ideal spot.

Catch up quick: Grindhouse got its start when Brounstein opened the restaurant in 2009 at the Curb Market in Sweet Auburn (now known as The Municipal Market).

• It has two other standalone restaurants in Atlanta, as well as one in Decatur, Brookhaven and Athens.
• You can also grab a Grindhouse burger at locations in Concourses D and T at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
