Drake boots Taylor Swift as Atlanta's top 2025 artist on Spotify

The intrigue: Atlanta's top artists vary slightly from U.S. and global listeners.

• Bad Bunny was the top artist streamed this year across the globe. Swift comes in second, Drake ranks third, The Weeknd is fourth and Billie Eilish comes in fifth.
• For the U.S. listeners, Tay Tay remains in the top slot, followed by Drake, Wallen, Lamar and Bad Bunny.

Zoom in: Kendrick Lamar and SZA's "luther" was the most-streamed song on Spotify this year in Atlanta, as well as among U.S. listeners.

• That's a drastic change in genre from last year, when the most-streamed song in Atlanta was "Who" by K-pop singer Jimin.
• Lamar's "tv off" featuring "lefty gunplay" took the second slot in Atlanta, followed by "Die With A Smile" by Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars, "Timeless" by The Weeknd & Playboi Carti and "Ordinary" by Alex Warren.

The fine print: Spotify also shared the top five podcasts streamed in Atlanta. "The Joe Rogan Experience" came in first, followed by "This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von," "The Tucker Carlson Show," "Shawn Ryan Show" and "Crime Junkie."
