The Atlanta Dream is riding high after defeating the Indiana Fever over the weekend for their first WNBA playoff win since 2018.
Yes, but: They're celebrating without the help of a person wearing a fuzzy costume and firing T-shirts from a cannon.
Why it matters: The Dream has played without a mascot since 2020, when it retired Star, the happy go-lucky bird-human hybrid that looked like it could use a shower.
The intrigue: The team tells Axios they are open to your ideas.
What they're saying: "We're listening, ATL … we need a mascot and want your input!" a Dream spokesperson told Axios. "Who knows? We just might bring your idea to life!"
What's next: The Dream and Fever play tonight at 7pm in Indianapolis.
