The city of Atlanta will soon kick off a resurfacing program for two major thoroughfares in the northwest part of the city.
Driving the news: Atlanta Department of Transportation crews will begin repaving West Marietta Street and Perry Boulevard, a nearly three-mile stretch between Hollywood Road and Marietta Boulevard.
Weather permitting, the repaving will take place at night, which will reduce interruptions to traffic flow.
What's next: Atlanta DOT crews will post construction signage and traffic notices once work gets underway.
DOT spokesperson Michael Frierson told Axios it will take about two months (weather permitting) to pave the four-mile stretch of roadway.
