The Social Security Administration just dropped its list of the the most popular baby names by state for 2024.
- Overall, there are no real surprises. Liam and Noah and Charlotte and Olivia were the top two male and female names, respectively, in 2024 and 2023.
Yes, but: Georgia parents did select a few names more often than their counterparts in other states.
- Female newborns were named Malaysia 4.6 more times in Georgia than any other state.
- For the male babies, Chosen was — well — chosen by parents 3.4 more times in the Peach State.
Fun fact: One of Cam Newton's sons is named Chosen.
