If you're being responsible and focusing on the road while driving on the Downtown Connector, you may not notice the billboard advertising So So Def Recordings.
Why it matters: The Atlanta-based record label, started in 1993 by Jermaine Dupri, launched local artists like Da Brat, Kris Kross, Xscape and Usher on the world music stage.
The label celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2023.
Where to find it: The billboard is visible on the left if you're traveling northbound on the Downtown Connector just after the Fulton Street overpass.
💬 Kristal's thought bubble: I was pleasantly surprised to see the billboard return to its place in Atlanta's skyline. It's a nice reminder of the label's contributions to the hip-hop and R&B music industry.
