Driving the news: You can expect to start seeing these birds arrive in metro Atlanta over the next few weeks, according to Hummingbird Central.
Bird enthusiasts have already spotted ruby-throated hummingbirds in parts of central and south Georgia.
The intrigue: The ruby-throated hummingbird is the only one that's known to nest in the Peach State, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
