Jamestown is hoping its new not-quite-a-hotel, not-really-an-apartment development at Ponce City Market will be just right for the out-of-towner who wants everything.
Why it matters: Scout Living blends hotel services with residential touches to serve travelers who want a variety of amenities and a flexible schedule, Alexandra Kirk, Jamestown's vice President of development & construction, told Axios.
What's inside: All of Scout Living's 405 units are fully furnished and offer separate living and sleeping spaces.
- The kitchen has cooking tools, a dishwasher and a single washer-dryer machine.
- Tenants also have access to reserved rooms to entertain guests, a wellness facility, a pool and terrace, and a chef's kitchen if you want to cook for more than one person.
- Other amenities include a unit-cleaning service, private Wi-Fi networks, laundry and dry-cleaning services.
What they're saying: Scout Living's one- and two-bedroom units are suited for people visiting Atlanta for a few days, on location for a film shoot or spending several months here for work, Kirk told Axios.
By the numbers: Floor plans for a 1-bedroom and 1-bathroom unit start at $1,676 for a six-month lease.
- If you want to book a reservation by the day, room rates start around $178 per night.
