After spending more than a decade outside the perimeter, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's new headquarters are now back in the city limits.
Why it matters: The AJC was criticized for uprooting its offices from 72 Marietta Street in Downtown to Dunwoody in 2010 — a move that ran parallel to its shift in coverage that prioritized metro Atlanta's northern suburbs.
Driving the news: The newspaper's new home is in a renovated space in Promenade Central along Peachtree Street in Midtown.
It's across from Colony Square and near Woodruff Arts Center and the High Museum of Art.

What they're saying: AJC president and publisher Andrew Morse said in a statement that the move to Midtown "is a manifestation of our commitment to the city of Atlanta and the community we serve" as the media outlet transitions into a modern company.
