Atlanta weekend events: SweetWater Fest, Illumine

The weekend is within sight, so make a plan to celebrate with these events:

🌸 Celebrate Earth Day at the Atlanta Botanical Garden with family-friendly activities and a live Latin music performance by Havana Son. (Friday)

🌎 Earth Day Fest, which offers a pop-up market featuring local artists and live music, will be held at the East Atlanta Village Farmers Market. (Saturday)

🍻SweetWater 420 Fest returns this weekend at Pratt-Pullman District. General admission tickets are sold out, but VIP options are available. (Saturday-Sunday)

🪴Black Girl Plant Fest, which includes workshops, a plant swap and indoor plant tips takes place at Nourish Botanica. (Saturday-Sunday)

🎠 This is your final weekend to check out the DeKalb Carnival at The Gallery at South DeKalb. (through Sunday)

⚾ The Braves will host the Texas Rangers this weekend at Truist Park. Snag your tickets. (Friday-Sunday)

⚽ Atlanta United will play Cincinnati at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. (Saturday)

🌱 North Fulton Master Gardeners will host their annual Garden Faire at Wills Park in Alpharetta. (Saturday)

🧗 REI will host its free Westside Outside event celebrating the outdoors with activities for kids, a climbing wall and vendors at Lee + White. (Saturday)

🖼️ Illumine 2024, which showcases art installations by local artists, returns to Oakland Cemetery over two weekends. (April 18-21 and April 25-28)
