Trump rages at Iran war criticism: "Time is not my adversary"

President Trump railed against Iran war critics in a series of Truth Social posts, insisting he's under "no pressure" to make a deal with Tehran as peace talks remained in limbo Monday.
The big picture: Ahead of a looming deadline for the ceasefire ending, Trump denied that Israel had dragged the U.S. into the war, saying "Time is not my adversary," for ending it and his eventual deal will be "FAR BETTER" than former President Obama's 2015 nuclear deal.
What he's saying:
On Israel: "Israel never talked me into the war with Iran, the results of Oct. 7th, added to my lifelong opinion that IRAN CAN NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON," Trump wrote in one post.
On the media: "The Anti-America Fake News Media is rooting for Iran to win, but it's not going to happen, because I'm in charge!" Trump wrote in another post.
Iran nuclear deal: "The DEAL that we are making with Iran will be FAR BETTER than the JCPOA," Trump said of Obama's Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action nuclear deal with Tehran, which Trump called "dangerous."
- Trump added: "It was a guaranteed Road to a Nuclear Weapon, which will not, and cannot, happen with the Deal we're working on."
Deal pressure: "I read the Fake News saying that I am under 'pressure' to make a Deal. THIS IS NOT TRUE! I am under no pressure whatsoever, although, it will all happen, relatively quickly!" Trump wrote in another post.
- "Time is not my adversary, the only thing that matters is that we finally, after 47 years, straighten out the MESS that other Presidents let happen because they didn't have the Courage or Foresight to do what had to be done with respect to Iran," Trump added.
State of play: U.S. and Iranian negotiators are in Pakistan for peace talks ahead of the ceasefire agreement ending on Tuesday night.
