What time is the inauguration on TV?
Inaugural ceremonies begin at 11:30am ET, and the swearing-in ceremony will begin at noon, with Vice President-elect Vance going first and Trump to follow.
- The 20th Amendment to the Constitution states that the term of each elected president begins at noon on Jan. 20 of the year following the election.
- TV coverage starts earlier with times varying by station.
