Retailers are switching gears from Black Friday to Cyber Monday and unveiling new deals to encourage consumers to keep shopping.
Why it matters: The highly competitive holiday shopping season can be make-or-break for retailers and inflation-weary consumers are searching for bargains and discounts.
The big picture: Cyber Monday deals are starting as early as Friday and more sales will begin on Saturday, which is Small Business Saturday.
- More sales will start on Sunday.
State of play: Unlike Black Friday, many discounts are only for online purchases and not in-store shopping.

Amazon Cyber Monday 2024 deals
Amazon said its Cyber Monday sale will start on Black Friday and runs through Monday, Dec. 2.
- Amazon has extended its return window for many products through Jan. 31, 2025.
Yes, but: Amazon workers across six continents are striking from Black Friday through Cyber Monday, the union said in a news release, calling the strike "Make Amazon Pay days of resistance."
Best Buy Cyber Monday deals 2024
Best Buy's Cyber Monday sale begins Sunday and the retailer says shoppers can save "up to 50% on top gifts."
Kohl's Cyber Monday deals 2024
Kohl's said in a news release that its "Cyber Weekend Deals" start Saturday and continue through Monday in stores and online. The sale includes:
- From Saturday through Monday, shoppers can earn $15 in Kohl's Cash for every $50 spent.
- Free shipping on online orders of $25 or more through Monday.
- Only on Cyber Monday, online Kohl's Rewards shoppers can use a $10 off $50 coupon. Coupon exclusions apply.
Target Cyber Monday deals 2024
Target unveiled details Friday for its two-day Cyber Monday sale that starts Sunday online and on its app.
- The sale features "50% off thousands of Target's must-haves spanning tech, video games, home and more, and 25% off beauty, vitamins and nutrition items."
- New holiday deals will roll out throughout December in store and online, Target said.
- Target also is extending store hours from Nov. 30 to Dec. 23 and stores will be open from 7am to midnight.
Walmart Cyber Monday 2024 deals
Walmart's Cyber Monday deals start Sunday at 5pm ET for paid Walmart+ members and 8pm ET for all customers on Walmart.com and the app.
- Walmart shared eight of its "best Cyber Monday deals" in a news release.
- The Cyber Monday sale ends at midnight Monday.
Target gift card sale returns
What's next: One of Target's most popular holiday deals, a rare gift card discount, returns for two days, Dec. 7-8.
- Get 10% off store gift card purchases up to $500 through its Target Circle loyalty program — for a maximum savings of $50.
- Exclusions apply and the offer is available on in-store and online.
