Black Friday has officially arrived with extended store hours and new deals.
Why it matters: A record 183.4 million shoppers are expected to shop between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday with Black Friday projected to be the busiest day, according to the NRF survey, according to the National Retail Federation's annual survey.
- 131.7 million people are expected to shop in stores and online Black Friday, the survey found.
Stores open early for Black Friday deals
The big picture: 5am is the earliest opening hour with Kohl's and JCPenney opening then.
- Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe's and Macy's open at 6am.
- Five Below, Marshalls, T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods open at 7am.

Target extends hours through Dec. 23
What's next: Target is extending store hours from Nov. 30 to Dec. 23 and stores will be open from 7am to midnight.
- The extended store hours are being rolled out earlier than past years with a shorter window between Black Friday and Christmas.

What we're watching: Black Friday, a day commonly referred to as the "Super Bowl" of shopping and deals, and Amazon's second-ever Black Friday NFL game is expected to drive football fans to cut in-store shopping short.
- The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Las Vegas Raiders with coverage starting at 10:30am PST Friday.
- The game will stream exclusively on Prime Video.
