St. Pete weekend events: GeckoFest, Creative Pinellas exhibit and more

🦎 GeckoFest, Gulfport: This annual family-friendly street festival will have live music, local art and performances by aerialists, acrobats and more to celebrate Gulfport's "bohemian, creative spirit," per the event page.

🐶 Beach Dogs Friday at Clearwater Threshers, Clearwater: What's better than baseball? Baseball with DOGS. Bring your pup, kick back and watch the Threshers take on the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels.

• Friday, 6:30pm, BayCare Ballpark. Tickets start at $11. Dog tickets are $7, with proceeds benefiting local animal shelters.

🎨 AMPED: Turn Up for the Arts Fundraiser Party, St. Pete: Mix and mingle for the opening of the AMPED exhibit, featuring 75 pieces across multiple mediums by 50 local artists.
