By the numbers: AAA anticipates that nearly 2.7 million Floridians will travel 50 miles or more over Memorial Day weekend. The bulk of them — about 2.3 million travelers — will be driving.

• That's because Orlando and its amusement parks are the top destination across the U.S. for Memorial Day weekend.
