St. Pete's best to-go lunch: Lilya's Cafe salads

Yes, but: Recently, my fiancé and I found a delicious and reasonably priced lunch hack.

Why it matters: Lilya's Cafe salads are fresh and filling, and the shop offers a killer deal: three salads; a side of chicken, tuna or pasta salad; hummus; and pita chips, all for just $30.

• The cafe is located inside Cybel, the French-Moroccan fusion spot home to St. Pete's best hangover cure.

State of play: We've been going on Fridays and each have a salad with hummus and pita chips for lunch.

• We save the third salad and side for the weekend when, inevitably, between errands or social events, one of us needs a quick meal.

Our faves: The Thai chicken and shroom salad, the Mediterranean salad, the Mediterranean tuna salad and the lemon hummus.

• And the pita chips are so good.

What we're watching: The cafe just announced some changes including new hours and the addition of breakfast to the menu.

• The grab-and-go items are sticking around, though, thank goodness.
• Just a heads-up the restaurant is closed today through Wednesday for the transition. It'll reopen Thursday at 7am.
