Babe, wake up. The Florida State Fair's new food menu just dropped.
State of play: Cookie butter, street corn and last year's trendiest dessert — Dubai chocolate — are frequent flyers on this year's list of new items.
- Seems pretty normal, right? WRONG. The weird and wacky will be alive and well when the midway lights up Feb. 5-16.
Here are a few of our favorites:
Deep-Fried Cuban Burrito: Did we really need to defile this Tampa(-ish, don't kill me) classic? Yes.

Reese's Pieces Donut Burger: Like the Axios Tampa Bay team, this Nutella-peanut butter-frosting-bacon-cheese burger is better than the sum of its parts.

Candy Grapes: OK, frozen grapes are actually a great snack, and these ones are rolled in crushed Jolly Ranchers, cotton candy or sour Nerds.

Sushi Corn Dog: This sliced-up corndog topped with pepper jack cheese and jalapeños is served with chopsticks, which feels like an insult to chopsticks.
