This Tuesday is for the veterans — including the 7% of Floridians who have served in the military.
State of play: Veterans Day events are planned starting this weekend through Tuesday across Tampa Bay.
- The James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital parade is set for Saturday morning in Tampa.
- The Florida Veterans Coalition will host Clearwater Patriot Fest on Saturday, featuring speakers, live music, and food and drinks.
- On Sunday, Tampa's Armory Gardens neighborhood will host a Veterans Day celebration, featuring an appearance by Lt. Gov. Jay Collins.
