Weekend events: Oktoberfest, Scarecrow Festival and more

It may still feel like summer, but Tampa Bay's weekend lineup is leaning into fall — with autumn florals, scarecrows and plenty of pumpkins.

Here's a smattering of events to peruse.

🍺 Join the celebration at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park for Tampa's largest Oktoberfest, featuring live music, authentic Bavarian food, and, of course, beer.

The event runs all weekend, and tickets range from $10–$200.

🎃 Head to Dade City's Pioneer Florida Museum for a Scarecrow Festival, where you can ride ponies, pick pumpkins and craft your own straw man.

Saturday, from 9am to 4pm. Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for adults.

🧵 Browse local art and handmade crafts at the Sponge Docks Craft Festival in Tarpon Springs, Saturday and Sunday, along Dodecanese Boulevard.

Admission is free.

🍂 Celebrate fall at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve's Autumn Harvest Festival, offering seasonal crafts, hayrides and food trucks.

Saturday, from 10am to 3pm. Admission is $5 for ages 4 and up.
