Tampa Bay voters made their voices heard on Tuesday. Here's where the region's key races stand.
- U.S. House Districts 13 and 15 race have been called by the Associated Press.
- Other races show who was leading in unofficial results as of Tuesday night, according to local election officials.
U.S. House
District 13: Incumbent Anna Paulina Luna, a Trump ally and a member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, won re-election.
District 15: Republican incumbent Laurel Lee, who made waves last year when she endorsed Gov. Ron DeSantis over Trump for president, beat Democrat Pat Kemp.
Warren v Lopez
Hillsborough State Attorney Suzy Lopez is poised to defeat Andrew Warren, whom she succeeded after Gov. Ron DeSantis removed him from office.
Hillsborough Commission:
District 2: Republican Ken Hagan, chairman of the county commission and its longest-serving commissioner, is poised to defeat Democrat Patricia Alonzo
District 4: Republican Christine Miller, appointed to the county commission by DeSantis, is on track to win her first term.
District 6: Republican Chris Boles holds a lead over former state Rep. Sean Shaw for Kemp's countywide seat. Boles' win widens the GOP's control of the commission.
St. Petersburg Council:
District 3: Mike Harting, CEO of 3 Daughters Brewery, is poised to beat Pete Boland, the owner of three downtown restaurants, including The Galley.
District 5: Incumbent Deborah Figgs-Sanders is on track to stave off a challenge from real estate broker and entrepreneur Torrie Jasuwan.
District 7: Corey Givens Jr., a Baptist minister, led former City Council member Wengay "Newt" Newton with all precincts reporting.
Pinellas school board:
Katie Blaxberg held a lead over Stacy Geier, a business owner endorsed by Gov. Ron DeSantis and Moms for Liberty.
Hillsborough school board:
Incumbent Lynn Gray is poised to defeat Karen Bendorf.
Hillsborough, Pinellas Tax referenda:
Hillsborough voters approved the half-cent tax, according to unofficial results.
The Hillsborough County School Board's tax referendum is on track to pass.
- It's expected to generate $200 million, most of which will go toward teacher raises.
Pinellas voters renewed a property tax that will help fund higher pay for teachers; art, music and reading programs; and more, according to unofficial results.
