Pet of the week: Felix the smiling retriever mix

Meet Felix, this week's pet spotlight.

State of play: This retriever-terrier mix, with wide eyes and a 100-watt smile, is almost two years old. He loves treats, TV shows, and a view of other pups, "especially the girls," his caretakers say.

Felix is a vocal boy, but he doesn't talk with his mouth full. All you need is a treat or two to settle him down.

He has been at Pinellas County Animal Services for many weeks and is eager to find a forever home.
