Our forecasts aren't so cloudy

Our weather can feel unpredictable at times, but we have it better than most of the country.

State of play: The forecast in Tampa Bay and much of the state is accurate at least seven days out, according to a new Washington Post analysis of National Weather Service data.

The other side: The Great Plains has some of the nation's most unpredictable weather, with forecasts accurate only two days out.
