A new rustic-chic shopping experience has popped up in Sarasota.

State of play: The luxury Miami Beach retail group Bal Harbour Shops brought its experience to Sarasota earlier this month.

It's the second stop in Bal Harbour's multi-city tour that started last year in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The intrigue: Shoppers can browse brands like Tiffany & Co. and Balmain in the 17,000-square-foot retail space inside 30 custom-built shipping containers.

The setup includes covered walkways with fans, a retractable canopy, and The Whitman, a fine dining restaurant seating 150 guests with custom menus for the Sarasota experience.

What to know:

📍 Location: 297 N Cattlemen Rd Unit #1, just outside University Town Center Mall.

🛍️ Stores: Santa Maria Novella, Frette, Bonpoint, Addict, Assouline, James Perse and Scanlan Theodore.

🗓️ Dates: Bal Harbour will be in town until the first week of May.

⌚ Hours: 11am-8pm daily. The restaurant is open until 9pm.
