North Pinellas County shoppers rejoice! Viral mini tote bags and $3 wine are coming your way with a new Trader Joe's planned for Palm Harbor.

State of play: The cult-favorite grocery store will open in the Highland Lakes Plaza at 33591 U.S. 19 N, per an announcement on the chain's website.

  • The plaza was once home to a Stein Mart that closed after the company went belly-up in 2020.
  • It's the fifth location in the Tampa Bay area, adding to stores in South Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch.

What's next: The store is slated to open in 2024, although an exact date is TBD.

  • "Our Crew is working hard so we can open our doors in 2024," the announcement says.

πŸ’ Kathryn's thought bubble: Hopefully a new location will make the St. Pete store's parking lot feel less like the Hunger Games. πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«
