Ybor City's La Segunda Bakery & Café opening St. Pete location

Ybor City's legendary family-owned La Segunda Bakery & Café, the world's largest producer of Cuban bread, plans to open a bakery at 2436 4th Street N. in St. Petersburg this fall. 

• The new 1,820-square-foot location near the intersection of Fourth Street North and 25th Avenue will focus on grab-and-go orders, delivery and catering, with indoor seating for approximately 40, and a pet-friendly patio.

What to expect: The interior design will reflect Ybor City's Spanish and Italian architecture with red brick accent walls, iron-work accents, and a re-interpretation of Ybor's famous five-globe streetlights.
