Now is your chance to win a free, fully furnished smart home in San Antonio.
What's happening: HGTV is having a giveaway contest for the newly renovated midcentury house along with a 2025 Mercedes-Benz hybrid SUV and $100,000 in cash.
Zoom in: The more-than-3,000-square-foot house is designed for indoor-outdoor living. It has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and plenty of amenities for sports lovers — like a basketball court and a sports-inspired media lounge.
- There are multiple gaming consoles and even a cold plunge.
The home is located in MacArthur Park, near San Antonio International Airport, spokesperson Alexa Butterman tells Axios.
Some smart features include:
- An auto-release dishwasher door
- A water sensor meant to prevent damage from leaks
- An automatic soap dispenser
What they're saying: "I wanted to blend touches of Midcentury modern influences with a playful Texas twist, creating a fresh, fun, stylish aesthetic that sets this home apart," interior designer Poonam Moore said in a statement.

What's next: The hourlong special "HGTV Smart Home 2025" will air at 6pm Friday on HGTV and will be available to stream on Max and Discovery+ on Saturday.
