Here's what's going on around the Alamo City this weekend.
Thursday
At 1pm, head to Mission San Juan for a free immersive agricultural tour and an acequia demonstration.
- Check out other World Heritage Festival events, running through Sunday, in our guide.
Friday
Lace up your shoes for the 39th annual Zoo Run starting at 6pm.
- Adult registration includes San Antonio Zoo admission, merch and two drink tickets.
- The kids' race starts at 8am Saturday.
Meander around Southtown for First Friday events.
- Beethoven Männerchor will have food and music at 5pm.
- Brick at Blue Star will host a vintage market from 5-11pm.
Saturday
Take a guided hike at Government Canyon State Natural Area, 8-11am.
- Day pass fees apply. The hike is limited to the first 15 people to check in.
Shop until you drop at the Fall Market Day at Gather Brewing Co. in Universal City, 10am-2pm.
- There will be more than 30 vendors, a DJ, a bounce house for the kids and more.
Celebrate Bombay Bicycle Club's 50th anniversary with $5 signature margaritas and a memory booth. The party starts at 11am.
Groove to the music of Del Castillo at Sam's Burger Joint. Doors open at 7:30pm.
- Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the show.
Head to the River Walk to catch the final weekend of the free Ford Parade of Lights.
- The show starts at 8pm Saturday and Sunday.
Sunday
Get dressed up for the "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" brunch at Bar America with themed cocktails, photo opportunities, local vendors and more, noon-5pm.
Enjoy a night of R&B, poetry and comedy at the Jo Long Theatre at The Carver Community Cultural Center beginning at 6pm.
