• White Castle: Sorry, it looks like you won't find these unless you head to the Midwest, or west to Arizona.
• Waffle House: The closest location is up Interstate 35 in Kyle. We'll keep dreaming.
• Bob Evans: Another morning meal chain that isn't touching the breakfast taco market.

Michele A.B. misses Portillo's, a Chicagoland staple.

• "There is nothing like their Italian beef … and their chocolate cake shakes," she says.
