Spirit Christmas is coming to the Richmond area in November

• The state's other location is in Manassas, per the chain's site.

The big picture: The seasonal pop-up is basically Spirit Halloween for Christmas fanatics, swapping skeletons and jump scares for Frosty, giant inflatables, ugly sweaters and holiday displays.

• It's part holiday store, part attraction, with photo ops and a Candy Cane express train where visitors can write letters to Santa, according to a news release.
• The concept debuted with 10 stores in 2024 before expanding to 30 last year.

What's next: Spirit Christmas is expected to take over the current Spirit Halloween space at 120 Southgate Square — about 30 minutes from Richmond — in early November.

• Haunted Attraction Network reports a Nov. 6 opening, but the company hasn't confirmed the date or posted store hours.
• A spokesperson didn't respond to Axios' requests for comment.

The bottom line: Spirit will be haunting us through the end of the year.
