New South Richmond coffee shop is hiding inside Zombie Pizza

South Richmond just got another coffee spot.
Why it matters: Bliss Cafe is bringing pistachio lattes, fig matchas and stuffed beignets to Woodland Heights — and it's inside Zombie Pizza.
The big picture: Bliss, once a coffee and sandwich truck off Semmes Avenue, opened its permanent home last weekend next to the auto service shop.
- Pro tip: Look for the red umbrella and chairs out front so you don't miss it.
On the menu: Coffee classics start at $3 for a double espresso, while specialty drinks mostly run from $7-$8.
- Options include honey cinnamon or einspänner lattes (which is topped with sweetened cream), yuzu matchas, and strawberry and coco smoothies made with coconut cream.
- Plus: Beignets dusted with sugar or stuffed with Nutella, pistachio or strawberry cream ($10-$12). Staff say they're made daily and sell out fast.
😍 The sleeper hit: The $7 za'atar toast with cream cheese on sourdough and its homemade bagels.
