It's a packed mid-September weekend in Richmond, with PrideFest, a Dolly parade and more.
Thursday
🐱 The Amazing Acro-Cats take over the Dominion Energy Center with cats riding skateboards and jumping through hoops, through Saturday. Times vary. Tickets start at $57.10.
Friday
🍽️ The Lebanese Food Festival returns to St. Anthony in Glen Allen with shawarma, grape leaves, hummus, baklava, live music and dancing. Friday and Saturday, 11am-10pm; Sunday, 10am-8pm. Free.
🧛 Test your "Twilight" knowledge at Twilight Trivia at Buskey Cider in Scott's Addition. 7pm. Free.
🎭 Sing and dance along to show tunes at Broadway Rave — an 18+ dance party for musical theater fans — at Ember Music Hall. 7pm. Tickets start at $24.10.
🤠 Country singer Lee Brice plays Innsbrook Pavilion. 7pm. Tickets start at $45.65.
Saturday
🌈 VA PrideFest returns to Midtown Green with live entertainment, food, vendors and more. Noon-8pm. Free.
🏃 Run Richmond 16.19 takes runners and walkers through more than 400 years of Black history, with 16.19K and 8K routes beginning and ending at Abner Clay Park, plus a festival with music and vendors. 8am. Free to watch. Running starts at $65.
🎨 Shop 75 regional artists and craftspeople at the 43rd Street Festival of the Arts in Forest Hill. There'll also be live music and food trucks. 10am-4pm. Free.
🌊 Celebrate the James at EcoFest at the James A. Buzzard River Education Center, with free paddle tours, eco-friendly vendors and food trucks. 11am-3pm. Free.
🇮🇳 The Festival of India takes over the Convention Center with Indian food, music, dance, shopping and cultural performances. Saturday and Sunday. 11am-8:30pm. Free.
🥂 Diner En Blanc, Richmond's favorite Parisian picnic party where the location is a secret until the day of, is back. 6pm. Tickets start at $110.
🥃 Virginia Distilled brings Virginia spirits, cocktails and bluegrass to the Virginia Museum of History & Culture, plus a competition to crown the state's Cocktail of the Year. 6-9pm. Tickets start at $60 for nonmembers.
🌈 Keep Pride going at Godfrey's "Pride of Many Colors: An Ode to Dolly," a 21+ Dolly Parton-themed PrideFest afterparty. 8pm-2am. $10 before 10pm; $15 after.
Sunday
💖 It's Carytown's first Dolly Parton Parade in remembrance of the Queen. The parade starts at Babes. Noon-2pm. Free.
🍂 Browse local makers, grab lunch from food trucks and ease into fall at Lakeside Fall Fest at Lakeside Farmers' Market. There'll also be music and a craft workshop. 11am-3pm. Free.
