Rock N Roll Sushi will open its first Virginia location on Monday in Midlothian.
Why it matters: The Florida-based chain specializes in rock and roll vibes, traditional sushi and vinyl-inspired décor.
State of play: The chain got its start in Alabama in 2010 and has since grown to more than 75 locations nationwide, including the one opening at Robious and Huguenot, near Firebirds.
- Franchisees, friends and VCU grads Justin Jones and Chad Ellis brought the concept to Richmond, per a news release.
On the menu: Sushi rolls, hibachi entrées, ramen, bowls, appetizers and a full bar.
What they're saying: "Rock N Roll Sushi offers something that's hard to find anywhere else — great food paired with an energetic setting that makes every visit memorable," Jones said in a statement.
