The weather this weekend won't have us feeling like we're in the bowels of hell, so let's spend it outside, yeah?
Thursday, July 9
🍦 Take a lunch break and head to a music pop-up with a free frozen treat from Gelati Celesti (for the first 100 people) at Maggie Walker Memorial Plaza. Noon-1pm. Free.
🎶 Or: Enjoy The Valentine's summer concert series "The Oasis" in the museum's outdoor space. Noon-1pm. Free.
🦪 Acacia Midtown in Libbie Mill is having a patio party with $1.25 oysters, $5 espresso martinis, $5 cocktails and mini lobster rolls. 5-8:30pm. Free admission.
🎩 Need an indoor break? Intermission Beer in Glen Allen has "Bridgerton" trivia night. 7pm. Free.
Friday, July 10
🍅 Celebrate Hanover's famously giant fruit at the Hanover Tomato Festival at Pole Green Park, where everything is tomato-themed. Friday, 5-9pm, and Saturday, 9am-1pm. Free.
🧃 Cool off with a singles juice party at Beet Box, which will have fresh juice, cocktails, and single people. 5:30-8pm. $33.85 (includes one free drink).
🛶 Paddle along Chesterfield's Swift Creek Lake in a canoe, with equipment provided by Pocahontas State Park. 6-8pm. Register in advance. $10.
💃🏻 Watch the sunset on the Graduate rooftop with a salsa dance party. 6-9pm. $5.
🍻 Drink and talk about "Revolution, rebellion, and sticking it to the man" with Tipsy History Club at The Veil in Scott's Addition. 6:30pm. Free.
Saturday, July 11

Sunday, July 12
🐈 Have a cocktail and cuddle with a kitten at Virago Spirits, which is hosting a "Cocktails & Kittens" fundraiser. Noon-2pm. $25 (includes one drink).
🇻🇪 Gallery5 is hosting an earthquake relief concert for Venezuela with local artists, haircuts in exchange for donations and Venezuelan spot On The Grill RVA. 6-9pm. Free admission.
🏟️ The Strokes play Allianz Amphitheater. 7pm. Resale tickets start at $129 for lawn.
