Venezuela earthquake relief: How Richmonders can still help

State of play: Last weekend, Ven Conmigo transformed Richmond restaurants and churches into a region-wide humanitarian network, expanding to Cochiloco and Lolita's before reaching capacity.

What's next: Here's how you can still help.

📦 Help move donations: Strong volunteers are needed to help load and transport hundreds of donated boxes Thursday and Friday.

• Thursday: 3-5pm, starting at First English Lutheran Church (1603 Monument Ave.) and ending at an office complex in Sandston (5350 Lewis Road, Unit E).
• Friday: Noon in Sandston, to organize the pallets before they're shipped to Venezuela.

🌮 Eat tacos: On Friday, July 3, 10% of Taco Vegana's sales will go to Ven Conmigo. The Church Hill spot is open 5-10pm.

🎶 Go to a benefit concert: Gallery5 is hosting an earthquake relief concert on July 12, 6-9pm, and partnering with Independent Hair Co. — who will offer haircuts in exchange for donations — and On The Grill RVA, which will donate $1 for every arepa sold.

💰 Donate or share the fundraising link: Ven Conmigo recently donated 500 body bags and provided meals to doctors who hadn't eaten using the money raised, Rincón tells Axios.
