If you're in the mood for Latin house music, vintage shopping or corgi races, then it's a great weekend to be in Richmond.
Friday, June 26
🖼️ El Mercadito from ArtesRVA — a pop-up market lifting up local Latino creatives — is at Shelf Life Books with food, drinks, tattoos and a chat with Claudia Bernardi and local muralist Hamilton Glass to chat about Bernardi's new book. 4-7pm. Free.
🎶 Pandora Cafe in Scott's Addition is having its first Latin House Night, with Venezuelan DJ Vitto and Mexican DJ Mannie. 7pm-midnight. $7.

🥳 The 69th annual Festival of the Arts is back at Dogwood Dell, kicking of the season with Deau Eyes. 8pm. Free.
🐎 It's horse racing season at Colonial Downs starting this week with races every Thursday-Sunday through Sept. 7. Races start at 12:30pm. $5.
🔅ICYMI: IllumiNATION — the four-night block party celebrating America's birthday at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture — runs through Sunday. 6-9:30pm. Free.

🏓 The Padel Plant downtown is hosting the first Virginia Padel Open through Sunday with a pop-up bar. All day. Free.
🌎 This year's Multicultural Festival in celebration of Immigrant Heritage Month is at the Richmond Raceway with music, food and a mobile display of the VMHC's "We the People" exhibit. 1-8pm. Free entry.
🇵🇷 Henrico's Dorey Park is hosting the 4th annual Puerto Rican Festival with dominoes, coquito and dance contests. 11am-7pm. Free entry.
🤣 Colonial Downs Racetrack is having its first-ever corgi races. 1-3:20pm. $5.
🪩 The International Captivating House of West is taking over Main Street Station for "WTV," a vogue and runway competition featuring over 500 performers. 1pm. Tickets start at $60.

🏳️🌈 Stonewall on Stonewall, an LGBTQ+ celebration and parade, is back on West 28th and Stonewall Avenue with screen printing from Studio Two Three, chants, live music and more. 4-7pm. Parade starts at 5pm. Free.
