Charcuterie trend grows in Richmond with Graze Craze in Henrico

On the menu: At Graze Craze, grazers can choose from a half-dozen sizes, including boards, boxes, trays and cups with options from $9-$210, like:

• Gone Grazey, which has meat, cheese, crackers, veggies, spreads and more.
• Vegegrazian, with extra cheese and fruit and vegetables instead of meat.
• And the Sweet & Grazey, a dessert board with cookies, chocolate, fruit and dips.

Zoom in: Cups and boards are available for one or two people ($9-$27)

• There are picnic boxes for four people ($65).
• And small, medium and large boards that serve 10, 15 or 20 grazers ($130-$210).

Zoom out: Charcuterie has been around forever, but shops focusing on the party platters took off during the pandemic, fueled by social media and a surge in home hosting.

• Graze Craze launched in 2021, and through franchising, is now the biggest "grazing food" chain in the nation, according to industry publications.

Graze Craze joins other local charcuterie shops, like Bite by Bite & Co. in Stony Point mall, Truckle Cheesemongers in the Museum District, RVA Cheese Girl in Manchester and the The Kitchen on Wellington in the East End.
