It's finally the weekend and it's going to be in the high 70s in Richmond. So we recommend getting outside.
Thursday, March 5
π΅ "Beauty and the Beast" is at the Altria Theater through Sunday. Times vary. Tickets start at $53.10.
πͺ The Diamond on Arthur Ashe has the Garden Brothers Nuclear Circus, which features over 60 performers and the Human Cannonball, through Sunday. Tickets start around $36 for adults.
Friday, March 6
π Enjoy some "Lunch on the Block" in front of City Hall, where at least nine food trucks will be posted up. 11am. Free until you buy something.
πΆ Richmonder Butcher Brown and Nate Smith are playing at the National. 8pm. Tickets start at $41.72.
ποΈ If you're ready to spruce up your home for spring, the Richmond Home + Garden Show runs through Sunday at the Richmond Raceway. Hours vary. $7 in advance.
Saturday, March 7
ππ»ββοΈ It's time for the River City Half and 5K! It runs (no pun intended) from 8am-12:30pm. Check out the road closures here.
π· The wine tasting portion of the Virginia Wine Expo β the Walk-Around Grand Tastingβ is all day Saturday and Sunday at Main Street Station. Tickets start at $94 for Saturday afternoon and $69 for Sunday.
βοΈ The Richmond Coffee Festival is at the Greater Richmond Convention Center with a cold brew competition and a performance from Plunky and Oneness on Saturday. 9am-4pm. $25 for a Saturday pass, about $15 for a Sunday pass.
πΏοΈ The Richmond Flying Squirrels are back with Nutzy's Block Party in the parking lot of CarMax Park with live music and a sneak peek at the new ballpark. 10am-1pm. Free.

π€€ Mobile Soul Sunday, the kick-off event for Richmond Black Restaurant Experience, is celebrating 10 years of highlighting the region's incredible Black-owned restaurants and food.
- Sunday's event will bring more than 30 food trucks to Monroe Park. Noon-5pm. Free.
π¦ There's a Vegan Seafood Pop-up at Strangeways Brewing in Scott's with "crabby cakes, lobsta mac, crabby spring rolls" and more. Noon-4pm. Free.
πͺ Intermission Beer Company in Glen Allen is hosting a Girl Scout cookie and beer pairing event, where $18 gets you a flight of five beers and five Girl Scout cookies. What a steal. 2:00-5:30pm.
